About Solesis

Solesis develops and manufactures textile, polymer, bioresorbable and hybrid components for medical devices, life sciences and pharmaceutical applications. Its materials and manufacturing teams support development from material selection and prototypes through process validation, production transfer and commercial manufacturing. Its manufacturing offering brings together Secant Group’s textile engineering and Polyzen’s polymer processing, while Charter Medical contributes single-use technologies for biological fluid handling. Solesis acquired Polyzen in November 2022; Polyzen’s website now directs visitors to Solesis for its capabilities. Polymer capabilities include medical film extrusion, dip molding and coating, thermoforming, film welding, lamination, die cutting and balloon fabrication. Textile manufacturing includes knitting, braiding and weaving for structures such as implantable fabrics and vascular components. The company also offers cleanroom assembly, packaging support and development of bioresorbable materials through its Hydralese platform. Headquartered in Telford, Pennsylvania, Solesis lists additional U.S. sites in Perkasie, Quakertown, Apex and Winston-Salem. Telford supports biomaterials research and development; its downtown Winston-Salem location is an innovation hub for single-use product design. Its official contact page accepts inquiries about textile, polymer and hybrid solutions.
