01 / Understand
Start with the physical world.
Every product is shaped by materials, physics, processes, and human skill. Understanding how they work together is the foundation for making better decisions.
Approach
We help hard-tech companies bring their innovation into U.S. factories.
Fabrication AI’s mission is to strengthen America’s industrial base. We’re building the connection between a deeper understanding of the built world and the people, processes, and facilities that can make the next generation of technology a reality.
Preparing the factory…
Drag or use arrow keys to orbit · Select a station to explore. On touch screens, drag sideways to turn and swipe vertically to scroll. Home resets the view.
Start with geometry, material, and function. The decisions inside a single component shape everything that follows.
Geometry, material, and interfaces connect design intent to the realities of making. Start with the requirements that matter.
01 / Understand
Every product is shaped by materials, physics, processes, and human skill. Understanding how they work together is the foundation for making better decisions.
02 / Industrialize
An invention reaches its potential when it can be made reliably, repeatedly, and at scale. Design intent has to meet tooling, production systems, quality, and cost.
03 / Build here
Our focus is the United States: helping hard-tech companies find a path into domestic factories, and helping manufacturing knowledge carry forward into the next generation of industry.
Experience behind the ambition
Our perspective comes from a long history in fabrication and manufacturing at scale. That experience shapes how we think: a part belongs to an assembly, a process belongs to a production system, and every decision has consequences on the factory floor.
We believe AI should extend that practical knowledge. It should help people understand the reasons behind a manufacturing decision and carry that understanding from one challenge to the next.
The foundation we’re building
Fabrication OS is our first product. We’re developing a shared Manufacturing Ontology, sourced answers, and a searchable U.S. supplier Network as the foundation for a larger ambition: helping hard-tech teams move from design intent to repeatable production.
