About Gear Motions
Gear Motions manufactures custom gears and can supply complete gears or perform grinding on customer-supplied blanks. Its advertised range includes spur, helical, bevel, worm and pump gears, as well as related splines and sprockets. Gear cutting uses both hobbing and shaping. The group’s New York operations include its Syracuse division, associated with Nixon Gear and AutoGear, and Buffalo operations associated with Oliver and Niagara Gear in Tonawanda. The company also provides supporting surface, internal and external grinding and gear inspection.
